Dehardt van der Merwe is the CEO and founder of Propopoly, working at the intersection of property development, capital and technology. Through Propopoly, he led the development and launch of New Zealand’s first FMA-accepted tokenised equity offer for a property development project, taking blockchain-based property investment from concept through to a live market offering. His broader work spans property development, investment structuring, data-led site origination and the application of emerging technology to real-world asset markets. Dehardt holds an MBA and a Master of Property Practice, both with distinction.
