Amanda Bransgrove is the Founder and CEO of WoolTraceNZ®, the New Zealand company behind WoolPass™ an  independent trust infrastructure being developed to give wool a digital identity and enable trusted evidence to travel with the fibre from source through global supply chains.

With a background spanning fashion, photography and entrepreneurship, Amanda brings a distinctly commercial and human perspective to traceability. WoolPass emerged from a simple question: how can New Zealand prove the origin, integrity and story of its natural fibres as they move from farm to finished product?

WoolPass is now moving through its MVP and pilot phase, working with New Zealand farmers, shearers and supply-chain participants while developing international pathways into markets including India and Europe.

Amanda’s focus is not technology for technology’s sake. She is interested in what must be proven in the physical world first, who should control that data, and where technologies such as blockchain can genuinely strengthen trust, provenance and international trade.
