Gabby Lewis is an internationally recognised financial crime leader with over a decade of experience spanning fraud detection, AML/CFT compliance, transaction monitoring, intelligence led investigation, and the design of financial crime control frameworks.

An adviser to policy makers in both Federal Government and law enforcement, Gabby is today Head of Fraud and Financial Crime at Swyftx, one of Australian’s largest digital asset platforms. She leads specialist teams across Australia, New Zealand, and the US, responsible for detecting and preventing financial crime at scale. Before joining Swyftx, she held lead investigation and intelligence roles at Suncorp Group across fraud investigation, intelligence analysis and task force leadership. She started her career in private investigations – experience that gave her a grounding in both traditional financial services and digital asset ecosystems.

Gabby led Swyftx’s “Learn and Earn” scam prevention trial, a world leading initiative that has attracted interest from law enforcement, banks and universities, sparking independent research opportunities and global interest.

A member of the ACAMS Australasia Taskforce and media commentator, Gabby is a regular speaker at major financial crime prevention events in Australia, the United States and New Zealand.
